Financial Aid FAQ (Fall 2020)

Following the University's announcement of its plan for fall 2020, the Financial Aid Office has prepared a resource that answers common questions about the financial aid, billing, and student employment implications of the plan. Please view this resource to learn more.

Financial Aid Mail Processing

The Office of Undergraduate Financial Aid and Student Employment (UFA) is currently unable to send or receive U.S. mail. To update your financial aid application, please upload materials to your secure financial aid portal; secure fax to our office at 609-258-0336; or email to pfaa@princeton.edu (if you are a member of the class of 2024) or faoffice@princeton.edu (if you are a currently enrolled student).

Junior/Senior Dining Options

The financial aid budget for all juniors and seniors includes an increased board allowance.

This increase of roughly $2,000 should reduce cost considerations when selecting dining options for junior and senior years.

The amount of aid you receive as a junior or senior does not change, whether you choose to join an eating club, purchase a University meal plan, or eat independently. Your University bill, however, will be impacted by your dining choice. To get an idea of how your University bill will be impacted by your dining option, please use our Bill Estimator.

Note that eating clubs bill independently, so club charges do not appear on the University bill.
