Spring-Summer 2023 Transition: Guidelines for Student Employment
2023 Academic Year student employment dates are:
August 22, 2022 - May 14, 2023
Transitioning from Spring 2023 to Summer 2023:
The final pay period for Spring 2023 ends on May 14th, 2023. The 2022-2023 Federal Work-Study (FWS) program also ends on May 14, 2023.
Graduating seniors (Class of 2023) are prohibited from working after May 23, 2023.
If you wish to extend student hires from spring into summer, you can contact us to extend the end date.
Additionally, if you will be hiring student workers who will be on campus during Summer 2023, please be sure to register them in the Summer Registration Portal
Work from abroad:
Students residing outside of the United States for more than 30 days within a given term (fall, spring, or summer) are prohibited from working for the University and earning wages unless they fall into one of the following categories:
Student positions related to a Princeton-sponsored program outside of the U.S., internship, or fieldwork, and the work or research abroad is required as part of the Princeton program or project.
